A comprehensive CHS training programme encouraging safe work behaviour and a positive safety culture.

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate program will coach you to strive to eliminate any cause of accidents and realize an injury-free construction workplace. You will learn the legal requirements under CDM 2015 regulation, implement health and safety protocols and influence a safety-aware culture.

The NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety endows you with the skills and knowledge required to:

Identify, evaluate and assess risks,
Understand legal requirements for managing health & safety,
Learn the duties under the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015,
Advocate effective health & safety improvements.

Le public ciblé

The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) Construction Certificate is a foundation qualification. It is for professionals responsible for health and safety in the construction industry, such as :

Health and safety officers,
Managers,
Supervisors,
Principal designers,
Principal contractors.

Les prérequis

There are no mandatory entry requirements. However, having awareness of general health and safety issues is essential. It is recommended you complete the NEBOSH General Certificate program before taking this course and have a suitable standard of English language (score of 6.0 or higher in IELTS tests).

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate has three units:

NGC1: Management of Health and Safety ;
NCC1: Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction ;
NCC2: Construction Health and Safety Application.

Units Numismatic Guaranty Corporation 1 (NGC1) and National Construction Certificate 1 (NCC1) are taught units with 5-12 elements, assessed with a two-hour written exam.

NCC2 is an assessed assignment, testing your skills.

Duration : 164 hours

The NEBOSH Construction Certificate has a single unit:

The foundations of construction health and safety management
Improving health and safety culture and assessing risk
Managing change and procedures
Excavation & Demolition
Construction hazards
There is one exam, which is an online open book assessment.
