It allows participants to update and consolidate their health and safety knowledge. Given the constantly evolving nature of the health and safety field, it is essential to keep skills up to date. Participants will review the key concepts from the initial course and apply them to a health and safety management system based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle, placing leadership at the heart of all actions.

Managers and supervisors who have already completed the full IOSH Managing Safely course.
Anyone wishing to keep their skills up to date and strengthen their ability to lead safety within their organization.

Les prérequis

Have completed and passed the full IOSH Managing Safely course.
No other prior qualifications are required.
Have a good level of English.

The training is structured into six modules:

Module 1: Thinking Back

Review of key concepts from the initial course.
Analysis of past situations and lessons learned.

Module 2: Leadership

The role of leadership in fostering a safety culture.
Encouraging active staff participation.

Module 3: Planning (Plan)

Developing a health and safety management plan.
Identifying risks and preventive measures.

Module 4: Implementation (Do)

Practical application of safety procedures.
Engaging and empowering teams.

Module 5: Monitoring and Review (Check)

Verifying the effectiveness of measures.
Performance indicators and internal audits.

Module 6: Corrective Action (Act)

Continuous adjustments and improvements.
Revising the plan based on feedback and incidents.

Assessment Methods

Final test consisting of 21 questions, including multiple choice, true/false, and short-answer questions.
Duration: 30 minutes.
Successful completion of this test is required to obtain the IOSH Managing Safely Refresher certification.

IOSH courses are offered in association with Astutis, ATC 1857.

E-Learning: Approximative duration 6-8 aproximative hours.

The program e-learning is delivered as a self-paced without an instructor. Participants may progress at their own pace once enrolled. Access provided to the platform is 6 months.
